Hardwood Floor Refinishing

Hardwood floor refinishing is the process of rejuvenating your existing hardwood floors. We drum sand the entire surface of the hardwood flooring 3 times with different sanding grits in order to remove all pre-existing scratches, dents, and stains etc. This process is followed by filling in any cracks, holes or deep dents with wood filler. We buff off the excess filler and the entire floor with a random orbital sander. After the stain dries the hardwood floor is ready to be finished with a colourless protective lacquer.

There are many different finishes available: high gloss, semi-gloss, matte, oil and water based. It is industry standard to clear coat three times , however the floor requires a polishing sand prior to the application of the final clear coat.
